Once you have made a booking with Extreme Bike Tours and paid the deposit then the terms and conditions written below come into full effect.
 
 

Your safety is of paramount importance to us. Riding in India can be dangerous and the ever-changing weather in the Himalayas can be hazardous if ill equipped.


So we will make it easy as possible for you.


Our local team fits all our bikes with everything that you could possibly need for these adventures and the bikes are maintained to the highest standards.


We carry all the relevant spares and equipment that you will need in our support vehicles, and in the Himalayas our camping setup is done to maximise your comfort and safety from the weather conditions.

 
Your responsibility
 
To participate in this tour you must be aware that riding in India can be dangerous. You must be a responsible and courteous to other riders and traffic on the roads.
 
Our responsibility
 
Is to make sure that you are safe on the trip. If at any time we decide that you are not safe then you will be removed from your bike and have finish the tour in the support vehicle. No refund will be given.
 
Booking
 

Once you have booked with us and your deposit has been transferred to our bank account then your booking will be confirmed. The remainder of the funds must be transferred within 2 months of the tour starting. This deposit is non-refundable.


Due to the logistics of organising these tours, bookings must be confirmed two months prior to the tours departure. Bookings after this cannot be guaranteed.

 
Deposit and balance payment
 

30% - deposit per person required to secure booking.

70% - balance must be paid 2 months prior to the tour departure.


All account information will be sent to you for at time of booking with invoice in order to make the bank transfer to our Extreme Bike Tours account.

500cc Royal Enfield Bullet
Internal flights in India
All petrol for tour
All bike maintenance and spares
Up to £150 worth of accident insurance for bike if dropped or crashed. After this clients must pay the remaining repair costs
All inner line permits for military controlled areas around Ladakh
Accommodation (twin sharing hotels/guesthouses and camping)
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Drinking water
Guide
Mechanics
Support vehicles
Internal flights in India and Bhutan

Accommodation
 
Accommodation ranges from luxury hotels, guesthouses and camping. All accommodation is on same sex twin-sharing (couples double-room) basis. Sometimes there might a single occupancy in a double room.
 
Documents
 
You must bring with you appropriate travel insurance and documents as follows:
 
Valid motorcycle license
Valid International driving license
You are required to bring your travel insurance policy with you on tour. Please print off a photocopy and keep it safe.
Without these documents you will not be able to take part in your chosen tour.
 
Insurance
 
You are responsible for your travel insurance. The following should be covered by your insurance policy: trip cancellation and delays, medical - accident and repatriation cover, general liability and damage or loss of luggage. Motorcycle damage is included in your cost up to £150.00. This is enough cover for most drops and skids.
 
Cancellation
 

Your deposit is non refundable. Once you have paid the remaining amount for your chosen tour then this is returnable as long as you cancel two months prior to the tour minus the banks transfer fee. After this there will be no refund.


If for any reason that you cannot complete the tour once started then no money will be returned.


Due to the extreme weather conditions in the Himalayas it may be that the tour will have to change route. We will aim to carry on to the main points of the planned trip, however we may have to redirect the tour and continue to other areas of the Himalayas.

 
Tour cancellation
 
We require a minimum of four people on these tours. Should for any reason this number not be reached then the tour will be cancelled with a full refund.
 
Health
 
Please see your GP before coming on tour for relevant information on travel in India and also about Acute mountain sickness if you are coming to the Himalayas. (see FAQ)
 
Indian tourist visas
 
Please visit www.indian-visa.com for visa information well before you travel or check with the Indian Embassy in your country.
